solid angle

Ω=ds1/r12=ds2/r22=ds2/r22=ds3/r32=dsn/rn2=SOLID ANGLE.
SOLID ANGLE=area/(distance)2

total solid angle =4πr2/r2=4π

dΩ=ds\ r2 =ds cosθ/r2

 The total angle subtended by every element with or under the surface will be the integral of dΩ(=4π) with respect to Ω.

It seems you're not using this blog address for anything significant. It hasn't been updated in years, and the information presented here is easily available on Wikipedia.

If you still want to preserve this information, you can create a page for it on "pen.io".

The reason I'm contacting you is because I wanted to start a blog called "Steradian" (at steradian.blogspot.com). But you currently have access to this blog address.

If you would be kind enough to transfer the blog address (and the blog itself) to me, then I'd really like it. Instructions for doing so are given here: http://www.stramaxon.com/2012/03/transfer-blog-from-one-account-to.html

Note that you're going to need my email address, which I would give you if you agree to transfer control.

I await your reply.
